Porsche has already declared pricing for its all-new Panamera luxury sedan. The standard four-passenger, rear-wheel-drive Panamera S, fitted with a 400-horsepower, 4.8-liter V8, will start at a cool $89,800. Bumping up to the all-wheel-drive Panamera 4S with the same powerplant will set you back $93,800. The top-of-the-line AWD Panamera Turbo features a 500 hp, twin-turbo 4.8-liter V8, and a window sticker starting at $132,600. (An estimated shipping charge of $975 is excluded from the price.)
Manufactured in Leipzig, Germany, the sedan is expected to compete with the Mercedes-Benz CLS (base price $71,575) and the upcoming Audi A7 (due in 2010). In case you were wondering, Maserati charges $119,750 for its entry-level Quattroporte sedan. We’ll look forward for the upcoming Panamera at the Shanghai Motor show in April. In compliance with the automaker, it is scheduled to roll into showrooms on October 17.
