Porsche 911 Turbo Facelift Revealed

porsche-911-turboPorsche has finally released details and images of the new Porsche 911 Turbo Facelift.

According to the manufacturer they have upgraded the most key features of the car including the substantial improvement in fuel efficiency and lower weight with more power, even higher speed and enhanced driving dynamics.

The new facelifted Porsche 911 Turbo is equipped with a 3.8 liter, six-banger power unit with direct-injection and Porsche’s proprietary turbocharger with “variable turbine geometry”. The engine is capable to deliver up to 500 hp (368 kW).

Porsche  911 Turbo reaches 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and a top speed of the vehicle is 312 km/h or 194 mph. Fuel economy is 11.4 liters per 100 km.

2010 model year Porsche receives more power, improved handling, chrome headlamps surrounds, revised fog lamps and new alloy wheels, agility with tweaks to the all-wheel drive and Porsche Stability Management systems. Porsche’s highly acclaimed PDK dual-clutch gearbox and a new PTV (Porsche Torque Vectoring) is also available as an option.

The new 911 Turbo will first be introduced to the public at the Frankfurt motor show in September.
