VW will roll out the Scirocco R around the world in the coming months. It’s powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that makes 195kW (265hp) and 350Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque. Transmission options are a 6-speed manual and a DSG gearbox, both of which transmit power to the front wheels. VW says it will go from 0 – 100km/h in just 6.5 seconds and let out a 250km/h top speed.
