Suzuki‘s new flagship sedan, the 2010 Suzuki Kizashi is expected to go on sale in the U.S. this December. Closer to the launch of its new vehicle Suzuki has announced the full technical specifications and preliminary pricing on the Kizashi. According to the company the new car will be priced under $20,000.
2010 Kizashi will be available in a 2.4-liter four-cylinder with the power of 185 HP at 6,500 rpm and 170 lb-ft of torque at 4,000 rpm. The engine is mated with the six-speed manual transmission, which allows the front-wheel drive vehicle to accelerate from standstill to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 7.5 seconds. An all-wheel drive Kizashi will also be offered.
Later the company will offer a more powerful V6 petrol engine as well as a hybrid version of the Kizashi.
Other features of the Suzuki Kizashi include 235/45-18 tires on alloy wheels, one-touch moonroof, fog lights, a 425 watt Rockford Fosgate audio system and integrated Bluetooth hands-free calling and audio streaming.
