2013 BMW X1 Review

2013 BMW X1 is a new generation compact SUV that was unveiled about 2 years ago and actually didn’t impress car critics that much and was eventually predicted to fail. But since then car industry has proved that compact SUVs, such as Audi Q5 and Range Rover Evoque have great chances for success and have their consumers all over the world. Small crossovers appear to be more convenient in terms of both quality and price for young families and individuals. BMW X1 is said to become a best-seller in this category.

So what’s different about 2013 BMW X1?

Though the vehicle is labeled as a crossover or SUV, yet it barely exceeded the size of a 2003 model 3-series sedan. X1 is designed as a perfect mix of a luxurious, dynamic sedan and a well-packaged crossover. The driving position of the vehicle is more of a SUV, however measuring just 175 inches from head to toe, X1 is still the smallest BMW crossover so far!

2013 BMW X1 actually launched in global markets in 2010 and its wild success left BMW with no ready examples for the U.S. market. It’s popularity in China is so high that X1s for the Chinese markets will be produced in a specially designed plant in Tiexi, in the province of Shenyang, while the models for North America will be built in Leipzig.

The prices of BMW X1 start at $ 31,545 for the BMW sDrive 28i. and $ 33,245 for the xDrive 28i.. The xDrive 35i starts at $ 39,345.
